I would like to invite a small group of good anglers to a very little known spot in the Yucatan, "Chutumal Bay". Bones,permit,Tarpon,cuda,snook,and Jacks awaite. this is a week long trip, we will walk and wade endless flats and stay at a local hotel on the beach. This is a dirt bag trip and you need to be sufficient on your own. 1200.00 american greenbacks. Covers, food, lodging,transportation from Cancun and Back(if you are good)and you get me as a guide for the week! Must have 6 anglers!

Grande Ronde, "IS" the next Big Smallmouth Bass fishery. Join me in late June to August and early Sept. for some amazing fly fishing! Lots of topwater action! These are the same 3 day floats I start in later sept. for summer run steelhead!

Bainbridge and Kitsap offer great sea-run Cutthroat fishing almost year around. Join me for a day in my backyard. 6wts and waders are all you need!

Methow trout schools are a three day class for learning the skills needed to fish lakes, rivers and small cricks!The fishery is producing good size native Cutthroat, eager to eat a big hopper! July!

Fly Fishing Schools:

The best investment you will make in flyfishing is a three day school!!

Methow trout schools. These are three day schools to teach fundamental casting techniques, bug identification, and knot tying! We teach basic skills on the water. Groups will cover lakes and how to fish them, second day Rivers, last day we will cover "cricks" and pocket water dry fly presentation.

These trips are usually conducted in late July and early August. 350.00 per student

 

 

Spey Schools;

Methow river is easy to wade and most can cover the water with confidence, the school is designed to help read the water and cast to productive runs, improve your general casting skills and knowledge of summer Steelhead.Three day school is 350.00.

Grande ronde river three day two night school. Live and breath the river as we float, fish, and show you the effective techniques of spey casting. Class willcover dry fly swing, and "greased line" techniques.Deluxe camp awaits us each night on the river. Cots and tents up ,gourmet meals, good company, and a friendly staff. 600.00 per angler. limit 6.

Olympic Peninsula spey schools.

Summer and winter schools available. These are two day one night schools conducted streamside on the famouse rivers of the O.P. 300.00 per student. limit 6. Sage rods and reels provided. meals and lodging, transportation not included.

Fishing Reports:

Lots of steelhead at the gates of the Bogichield Hatchery. The issue is the cold snap we are in, fish are a little slow biting. The next wave will be the wild boys in Late January through April. The forcast looks good with an above return average for 2010! NOW BOOKING for Feb. and march 2010!

The local Beaches are in the beginings of our "Local" salmon season! Fly casting from the beaches will produce some nice little Coho and Later some Cutts! I. line and a little pink somthing, stripped fast and short on a 6wt. will get em!

I am starting a new program based out of Thorndyke Bay in Hood canal. I will have access to over 20 thousand acreas, a private trout filled lake, the best area I know for Sea Run Cutthroat trout and if you wing shoot we have Blinds and Ducks!!! All this while we stay warm and confortable in the beach side Lodge on Thorndyke bay! Corporate, Family, Businees team building, fly clubs welcome! Call or mail for info today!

Make sure to check regulations, Single barbless means it comes out of you easier, not just the fish! They will be checking you this year on the Beach. Also if you see anyone poching KINGS, call it in!

Winter 2010 is here, lets go out to Forks Wa. (Twilight Capital) and go Steelheading! Every day is a chance for a wild steelhead pushing 30 lbs. Join me from Feb. To the first of April, and float the Bogi, HOH, Sol-Duc, Calawa, Clearwater, or the upper Quinalt for a great day of fun, Fish, and adventure!
